Barcelona International Airport

It is also known as El Prat, the main airport serving Barcelona. It is Spain's second largest airport of Spain. It is located in El Prat de Llobregat, which is 13 KM South West of Barcelona centre. It has 3 terminals Terminal A, B and C. The airport serves about 3 crores people per year. The airport mainly serves domestic and European destinations only, but some airlines also offers destinations in Asia and the United States.

The airport provides many facilities to the travellers. Help desks are present at the terminals. Secured lockers are also provided for safety of the luggage. Cash machines are also present in the airport, for any currency exchange. As far as the parking is concerned, the airport provides a suffecient parking space. A total of 12,500 spaces are present for car parking.

There are many ways of transportation to and from the airport. Cars can be hired from outside the terminal for touring the city. Aerobus and trains are also available and ensure easy transfer to the city. Barcelona Taxis is another easy way for transfer to the city from the airport.
