Paris has two main airports: Orly (ORY)
to the south of the city, and Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to the north.
On an average, these airports serve 75 million passengers annually,
with flights to 500 cities in 132 countries. Most international
flights arrive at CDG, while domestic French flights mostly arrive
at Orly. Transportation to and from the airports is possible by
car, taxi, bus, RER (train), privately-operated shuttles, and limousines.
Charles de Gaulle airport
It is Located at a distance of 23 km to
the north of Paris and is largest airport of France. There are three
terminals on this airport. There are uncountable ways to travel
between city and airport which includes taxis, bus, rail, RER, limousines,
etc.
There are 9 help desks in the airport
for the convenience of customer. Bureaux de Change and ATMs are
also located in all of terminals. There is a chapel, a synagogue
and a mosque and telephones are available throughout the terminals.
There are numerous places in the terminals to eat and drink.
Paris Orly Airport
The airport is located 14km (9miles) south
of Paris and was built earlier than CDG airport. The airport has
two terminals Ways to travel between city and airport includes taxis,
bus, rail, RER, limousines, etc.
Bureaux de Change and ATMs are located in both terminals. There
is a chapel in Terminal West and a chapel, a synagogue and a mosque
in Terminal South. One can also Shop in this airport. The airport
has all the facilities required by disabled passengers. Welcome
desks are also there in both terminals to assist the disabled.
Paris Beauvais Airport
The airport is located north of Beauvais.
There is a help desk in the airport terminal. There is also a baggage
carousel. Telephones are located at many places in the terminal.
Airport departure tax is usually included in the ticket price but
one should always enquire at the time of ticketing.
