It is is located towards the southern end of the London Borough of Hillingdon, 24 km (15 miles) west of Central London. There are 4 terminals at this airport and the fifth one is under construction. London Gatwick Airport

It is London's second largest airport and the second busiest airport in the UK after Heathrow. It is located in Crawley, West Sussex (originally Charlwood, Surrey) 2.7 nm (5 km or 3 miles) north of the town centre, 24.7 nm (46 km or 28 miles) south of London and 21.6 nm (40 km or 25 miles) north of Brighton.
