Valencia International Airport (VLC) information

The airport is located 8 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Valencia, on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. The airport is situated on the A3 highway which connects to Valencia and Madrid. It accommodates more than 2 million passengers per annum. The airport serves International flights primarily from the UK, Germany, France and Italy and domestic flights arrive mainly from Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca and Ibiza. The airport has the usual amenities including bars, restaurants, shops and a pharmacy. Car parking facility is also provided to the travellers, however some fees is required for the parking.

The airport can be easily accessed via the N-220 national roadway. Buses can also be used as a way to travel between the airport and Valencia city centre. A information desk is also available for customers to know about the current timetable. Taxis can also be hired from outside the terminal building.

The airport provides the travellers with many basic facilities and services. It has two ATM machines, a currency exchange booth and a post office. There are Four cafes, regular shopping outlets, featuring perfumes, jewellery, fashions, gifts, sweets and other foodstuffs.
